What the Road Puts On
Between Every WashA drive-through rinses with the same kind of hard water that rings your paint in the first place, and runs a brush carrying the car-before's grit across it on the way through. Hand-washing with spot-free water clears the film and the minerals without scratching. The ceramic seal is then what makes river spray bead off and roll away, so the paint spots far less than it would unprotected.

What an Exterior Detail Won't Do
Because We'd Rather Tell You Up FrontAn exterior detail is the best your paint can look short of machine correction — and we'll tell you exactly where it stops before you book. Premium shops do this on purpose. Budget shops never do.
It Won't Remove Swirls or Scratches
A wash and sealant make your paint clean, glossy, and slick — but swirls, scratch marks, and etching live down in the clear coat, and only machine paint correction removes those. They're two different jobs, and we'll always tell you which one your car actually needs.

On a neglected finish, built-up grime can mask scratches, oxidation, and water spots. Once we wash it all away, those can show more clearly — not because we caused them, but because the dirt was covering them. On rougher cars we'll flag this from your photos before you book, so it's never a surprise.
The 3-Month Seal Isn't Long-Term Protection
The ceramic spray sealant on the Fresh Start makes your paint hydrophobic, so water beads and rinses off easier — for about three months. It's real, honest protection, but it isn't a years-long coating. If you want protection measured in years, that's a System X ceramic, and we'll tell you straight whether it's worth it for your car.

We Do HereFrom thaw to first frost the riverfront work keeps us booked here, and it comes off both banks — the bluff homes above the water, the older downtown streets, the newer subdivisions out on the village edge:
On all of them the number was set before the first panel, and the bill held until you'd looked the car over with us up on the bluff.
We cover 48837 end to end: up on the bluffs over the Grand River, through the established downtown streets, out to the newer edge subdivisions, and on the residential blocks near Fitzgerald and Island Park — home driveways only there, since the park lots aren't ours to set up in. The Ledges draw the river weekends, but the wash requests come from every street in town.
