Mobile Paint Correction in Holt, MI — Swirl & Scratch Removal
Holt drivers keep trucks for the long haul, and a decade of US-127 salt etching shows. We pull into your Delhi Township driveway, gauge the clear coat, then machine-polish years of swirls and oxidation back out — leveling the damage, not waxing over it.
What Holt Winters
Already Did to Your PaintHolt drivers keep their vehicles. Ten years of US-127 commutes, salt thrown on the roads over the Mason esker, and a drive-through wash after every salt run — it all leaves swirl haze and fine etching in the clear coat. Over a long ownership cycle that compounds into the dull, chalky look most folks just accept. Machine correction strips years of it out, and on a truck you'll drive another decade, that's the difference between proud and worn-out.

The Swirls You Can't Unsee
Once you've noticed the cobweb haze under the sun, you see it every time. A wax hides it for a week. Correction removes it — so the car looks deep and wet again, not tired.
Scratched Paint Shrinks the Offer
A buyer or appraiser sees swirls and oxidation as neglect — and prices it that way. Corrected, resale-grade paint quietly protects what your car is worth.
You Paid for Paint You Can't See
Under the haze is the real color and gloss the factory gave you — buried by years of wrong washes. Correction doesn't add anything fake. It uncovers what's already yours.
Who This Is For
Built for Owners Who See
What Their Paint Could BeYou're the kind of Holt owner who keeps a truck for the long haul and still wants it to look the part — the daily-driver that ages like it's cared for, not like it just gave up.

We Measure Before
We Ever Touch Your PaintYou shouldn't have to trust a buffer in someone's hand on faith — so we don't ask you to. Before a single pad touches your car, we read the clear-coat thickness with a gauge and document every problem area. After, you get it all as a PDF Paint Health Report. It's not a sales step — it's just how we protect your paint.

A System X Accredited shop — the same prep standards behind every coating we install. How Your Paint Is Built
And Where We Actually WorkYour paint isn't one coat — it's a stack of thin layers. Correction only touches the very top of the clear coat, so your actual color is never at risk.
The whole paint stack is about as thin as a sheet of paper. Correction removes only the top few microns of the clear coat — thinner than a human hair — which is exactly why we measure your paint first.
What Correction Removes
And Why It WorksDefects sit in your clear coat like tiny hills and valleys. Machine polishing carefully levels the hills — the swirls and scratches — down to the smooth valleys, without digging into your paint. That's why a corrected car looks deeper than new: the surface is genuinely flat again.
A compound cuts deeper to remove the defect; a polish refines that cut to a high-gloss finish. Real correction uses both — that's the difference between “buffed” and corrected.
Swirls & Spider-Webbing
The faint cobweb haze you see under sunlight or LED lights. Almost always from wrong wash technique — automatic brushes, dirty mitts, drive-through washes. The single most common thing correction removes.
Light Scratches & Marring
Fingernail-shallow scratches and wash-induced marring sitting in the clear coat. If your nail doesn't catch in it, correction can almost always level it out.
Oxidation & Dullness
That chalky, faded, flat look on older or sun-baked paint. Compounding cuts past the dead, oxidized layer to bring the real color and depth back.
Water Spots & Etching
Mineral rings from hard water, sprinklers, and bird droppings. The surface deposits have to be dissolved off first — then any etching left underneath gets corrected. More on that just below.
See the Difference
Swirls Gone, Not HiddenReal paint, same panel, same light — before and after. No filters, no wax shine that washes off next week. Just the defects removed.

AfterHow It Works
Measure First, Then CorrectYou choose your correction when you book. When we arrive, we verify your paint in person with a gauge — and if it needs something different than you thought, we tell you and adjust before we start. No guessing, no blind upsells.
Book & Pick Your Level
Pick the correction that matches your paint's condition right in the booking — that sets your package. Not sure which level? Send us a few photos and we'll help you choose before we arrive.
We Inspect Before We Touch It
When we arrive, we read your clear-coat thickness with a paint gauge and check the whole car. If your paint needs more (or less) than the level you booked, we tell you straight and show you what to expect — but the choice stays yours, and your booked price doesn't change unless you change the plan.
We Correct It Where You Are
We arrive fully equipped — power, water, lighting — and correct your paint right at your home or office. Want it to last? Lock the finish in with a ceramic coating the same visit.
Choose Your Level of Correction
Every Tier Is Gauge-Verified On ArrivalSedan and truck/SUV pricing is posted on every card — and the price you book is the price you pay. When we arrive, we gauge-measure your paint and tell you straight which level fits; if you'd rather book a lighter (or deeper) level than we'd recommend, that's your call — we'll just be honest about the realistic outcome. Most corrections wrap in a single day: hand us the keys, get a transformed car back by evening.

Wet Sanding
For deep defects, orange peel, or show-car prep, wet sanding levels the clear coat itself. It's specialty work — final quote in person after we measure your paint, because the price depends on the panels involved, defect depth, vehicle size, and paint thickness.
Spot wet sanding
One panel or a problem area — a deep scratch, a run, isolated orange peel — sanded and blended into the surrounding paint.
Whole-vehicle wet sanding
A multi-day, show-car-level reset. The entire vehicle is leveled, then fully 2-step corrected.
- Paint-thickness gauge inspection on arrival + your Paint Health Report after
- Full exterior detail
- Clay bar decontamination
- Chemical iron decontamination
- Wet sanding of the affected panels
- Mandatory 2-step polish afterward to restore full gloss
We don't wet-sand repainted panels, and if your paint is too thin or has been resprayed we'll tell you straight — sometimes the right answer is to protect what you have, not chase perfection. We reserve the right to decline work when the risk to your paint is too high.
What Put the Swirls There
in the First PlacePull the damaged top of the clear coat off and a long-owned truck looks years younger — and on a vehicle you plan to drive another decade, that's a difference you see every morning, not just at trade-in. Seal it after and it stays that way.
US-127 winter mileage
Daily commutes load the clear coat with road salt and grit, and the post-wash swirls pile up faster the more you drive.
Salt off the Mason esker
Salt thrown on the roads above the esker clings to the vehicle for months and etches fine pitting into unprotected paint.
The long-ownership timeline
Keep a vehicle ten years instead of three and the swirl haze and oxidation stretch across three times as many winters.
Our Paint Promise
In Writing- The Good-Light Guarantee — you approve the result before you pay. We show you the defects on your gauge report before we start, then walk every corrected panel with you in good light before you settle up. If a panel we agreed to correct doesn't match what we showed you, we re-polish it on the spot — at no charge.
- We measure before we touch your paint. A paint-thickness gauge reads every metal panel, and you keep a PDF report of the readings — so we only ever remove what's safe to remove.
- Backed by a $1M+ general liability policy. If anything we use damages your vehicle, our coverage handles the repair — never you.
- We'll tell you the truth — even when it costs us the job. If your paint is too thin, has been resprayed, or the risk is too high, we'll recommend protecting what you have instead of chasing perfection. We reserve the right to decline work we can't do safely.
Paint-thickness gauges read metal and aluminum panels, not plastic bumpers or trim. Correction removes defects within the clear coat; it cannot remove damage that has gone through the clear coat to the base color or primer.
You Get the Receipts
On Your Own PaintThe full wash, clay bar, and chemical decontamination in every correction is a $150+ detail on its own — it's included, not billed on top. And the gauge report? Yours to keep — documented proof of what we found and did.
Paint-thickness gauge inspection
We measure the clear coat on your metal and aluminum panels before we start, so we only ever remove what's safe to remove. (Gauges read metal and aluminum — not plastic bumpers or trim.)
Your paint-health PDF report
After the work's done, you get your Paint Health Report — your vehicle's paint-thickness readings and every flagged problem area. If anything needs your attention, we walk you through it. Yours to keep: documented proof of exactly what we found and what we did.
Full wash & decontamination
Every correction starts with a proper foam-bath hand wash, clay bar, and chemical decon — because polishing dirty paint just grinds grit into it.

What Paint Correction Won't Do
Because We'd Rather Tell You Up FrontCorrection is the best way to genuinely fix your paint — and we'll tell you exactly where its limits are. Premium shops do this on purpose. Budget shops never do.
It Won't Fix Damage Through the Clear Coat
Correction levels defects inside the clear coat. If a scratch has cut through to the base color or primer — the kind your fingernail drops into — no amount of polishing fills it back in. That's a paint repair, and we'll tell you so instead of buffing at it.
It Removes Today's Defects — It Doesn't Stop Tomorrow's
Once corrected, your paint is genuinely flat and clear again. But bare paint starts collecting new swirls the next time it's washed. To keep the finish you just paid for, lock it in with a ceramic coating — that's the part that protects.
Explore ceramic coating →It Can't Be Done Forever
Every correction removes a few microns of clear coat — there's a limited amount to work with over a car's life. That's exactly why we measure first, recommend the lightest tier that gets the result, and never over-correct paint that doesn't need it.
We'd rather protect your paint than chase a perfect finish your clear coat can't safely give.

Only what's safe to remove comes off — the gauge reading happens in your driveway before the first pass, and the truck sleeps in its own spot that night.
